Hi my name is Annaliese Laurila! I grew up in Portland, Oregon with my parents and sister. I played soccer all throughout my childhood and dreamed of playing soccer in college. My dreams came true when I was recruited to play soccer at Western Washington University right out of high school. Entering college I had no clue what I wanted to study. I took lots of general classes to test the waters. After my first marketing course I was hooked. I loved creating content and understanding the analytics. Entering my junior year I discovered I was ahead in credits and could take on another concentration. I picked management. I chose management due to my passion for leadership and motivating people. This passion came from my sports background.  I was team captain of the WWU women's soccer team as well as a youth coach. I wanted to grow my skills as an effective leader by obtaining my management concentration. I graduated in December 2019 with a BA in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Management.

I have been able to apply the skills and knowledge I gained in school to three marketing positions I help pre- and post-grad. I have worked for several companies including B2B and B2C businesses, as well as, a boutique marketing agency. I am currently working as a marketing freelancer to help small businesses grow and achieve their goals.
